So throughout the show it has to rely on the slapstick comedy and fan service, which can be pretty weak at times. With a pretty basic story, the romance is what supposed to help keep it going however he male protagonist is only 10 and with 14-15 year old girls it can be really hard to take it seriously. The story manages to become good and fun to watch at times, but with its cheesy outcomes it may leave little to be desired. This harem, comedy has the advantage of being a magical one it seems to start of fairly normally, which can be quite dull for anime fans that are used to this genre. Well that's the basic idea of this simple show and what helps it stand out is the shear number of girls (31 in fact), so learning their names are impossible. There's one other shocking piece of info about him and that is, he's a Mage (Magician). Negima! is a Magical, Supernatural, Harem, Comedy about 10 year old boy Negi, who has become a teacher at an all girls school. However this Shounen anime seems to be aimed more at the female demographic, leaving most guys cringing at all the cuteness.

The opening and ending themes are really cute and are very addicting to listen to. The music is where the series really shines. Also, the characters could have been drawn a lot better. Everything looked kinda pale and lightish is hue. Everything looks like it was colored with watercolor. Now the animation is the series' weakest point. The combination of all these weird, crazy and wacky ideas makes the series really interesting to watch. To make things spicier, the class he teaches is full of strange and interesting people such as a vampire, a person from the future, a robot etc. I'd never expect a 10 year old teacher who teaches in an all girl's school. I was surprised at what I had stumbled upon. When I first heard about Mahou Sensei Negima, I decided to give it a shot and watch it. So bored that I resorted to waching anime in desperation. Evangeline said that he went satisfied and with no regrets or whatever so maybe he just decided that he was done. I'm guessing that he gets more power and a somewhat longer life, but is still able to die at a point. It's said that the Magia Erebea was created for Evangeline only because she was a pureblood vampire, so Negi didn't benefit completely from it. Basically, she was sent to the future, fulfilling her purpose, and then Evangeline and Chao sent her back to the exact time she disappeared from present day, making it so that it's like she didn't disappear, but still fulfilled her purpose. That's all we get.Īsuna is the present day Asuna that was sent into the future, then sent back to present day. We aren't really told what happens between those years except what each of the girls became and achieved until that point. It's basically said that Negi somehow found a way to save Nagi without killing him, even though Nagi said "Come kill me and it will end" or something like that. I'm guessing that it's some sort of power that takes over people and moved into Negi's dad causing him to "disappear" from the world. His dad was the Mage of the Beginning for some reason as you saw in one of the chapters near the end. Ok, so the problem with this ending is that they don't explain a lot, which means that we can only give you guesses basically.
